We would like to tell few tips about guitar effect pedals. Some
times we may trouble to play with guitar effects pedal. Now one who no needs to
worry about that kind problem below the ultimate tips helps you a lot to play
with guitar pedal. Guitar pedals, sometimes called effects pedals or the less
formal “stomp boxes,” are devices that alter the electronic signal produced
from an electric guitar and therefore change its tone. Read the guide below to
learn how to connect a guitar pedal properly.
Locate the input and output jacks on the guitar pedal. Most
pedals will have only 2 jacks – one labeled “Input,” and another labeled
“Output.” These jacks are usually located on opposite sides of the pedal’s
body, and are built to accept a standard quarter-inch (6 mm) audio cable.
Run a cable from your guitar to the effects pedal. Plug one
end of an audio cable into your guitar’s cable jack. Plug the other end of this
cable into your pedal’s input jack. Run a cable from your pedal to your
amplifier. Plug a second cable into the output jack of your effects pedal. Plug
the other end of this cable into your amp’s input jack (the same jack into
which you would plug your guitar directly). You can now turn your amp on and
use the effects pedal.
Connect several pedals in sequence if desired. If you want
to use multiple guitar pedals at once, you can connect them each in sequence. Using
a short audio cable called a “patch” cable, connect the output jack of the
first pedal to the input jack of the second pedal. Continue this sequence as
needed, finally connecting the last pedal’s output jack to your amplifier.
