Habits And Routines Of Blessed And Successful Muslim Families

Today, Muslims all around the world are living a disgraceful life. The main reason is that they have done away with what Allah teaches them through Holy Quran and the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Our dilemma is that we are Muslims just by birth and do nothing to prove ourselves as a true Muslim. It is the duty of all the Muslims to make a collective effort to regain their lost glory by implementing the words of Quran in their actual life. They need to start from their homes and should try to reform their own families first of all. Following are some of the methods which will help any Muslim family to become successful and to get in good books of God.

Tauheed (God is one): This belief is the very foundation of religion of Islam. No one is Muslim if he does not believe that there is only one God that is Allah the Almighty. What our problem is that we are born in Muslim families by God’s grace but afterwards we take it guaranteed that we are going to paradise after death. This is not enough and Muslims need to explore their religion and find out what Allah wants from them. It is the
religious duty of all the parents to bring up their children according to Islamic teachings. They should teach them how to offer prayers and should pray to Allah to make their kids a staunch and practical Muslim. Furthermore, family members should sit together and discuss the qualities of Allah to impart His love among children.

Follow Sharia of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): The Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself illustrated Islam to the people through practical applications of Islamic teachings and principles. Every staunch Muslim family will follow the Sunah of Holy Prophet (PBUH) in full spirit in their daily life. Observation of Sharia in our day to day routines will not only impart the knowledge of Islam to kids but God will also reward such families with happiness and prosperity.

Regular prayers: Each and every member of a Muslim family should offer their prayers regularly because a Muslim cannot miss even a single prayer at any cost. In fact establishment of Salat is the biggest sign of a true Muslim and it is Salat that distinguishes a Muslim from Non Muslim. It is a fact that if family members say their prayers regularly and on time, Allah showers His blessings on that family and promises them success not only in this world but in the world hereafter.

Appreciative manners: Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says in his Hadith,”He is not one of us who does not have mercy on young children, nor honor the elderly” (Al-Tirmidhi). Muslims families those are successful and have some status in the society, follow manners proclaimed by Allah in his sacred book. Kids respect their elders and elders are compassionate to their younger ones. Every family should develop these meritorious manners among themselves because it is the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Quran Recitation: This is another very virtuous habit practiced by stern Muslims families as Quran recitation offers boundless blessings. It is the duty of every Muslim to learn how to recite Quran with proper Arabic pronunciation and thoroughly understand Quranic instructions. Muslims can learn Quran through tutors in the mosques and online quran tutor. Nowadays it is so easy to learn Quran that no excuse can be put forwarded in your defense if you cannot recite Quran.

Overall learning enlivenment: In blessed Muslim families, an environment of learning prevails and everybody tries to learn something new about this great and true religion. People resort to books and try to learn and understand Quran by taking regular classes from renowned scholars and also by learning Quran online. Furthermore, family members consult different books and try to master all religious knowledge alongside acquiring mundane education.

Conclusion: Concluding, it can be said that Muslims all around the world should struggle to reclaim what they have lost and should try to keep Allah happy to achieve salvation on judgment day. It is only possible if Muslims revert to the teachings of Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
